Supply Teachers

Supply Teachers......... It is true that when schools book you in advance the class teacher usually leaves you with the work they want you to do. But what happens when the school wants you for emergency cover for a sick teacher ? Most heads and teachers would prefer you to do your own thing, at least for the first day or two.

Steps2learning has now made up packs of materials , each pack should cover a whole day, for Literacy, Numeracy, Science, PSHE and Art. Some of the materials have been taken from other parts of this site, some have been developed specifically for the packs. There are teacher's notes that are free to download.

It is always good practice to leave a record of what you have done for the class teacher. If you haven't got a specific form then try the one here.... it's very simple and free to download.

Remember , SUBSCRIBERS, if all that running off seems daunting to you then you could use the school's computer and printers. Just log in the usual way, with your e-mail address and password and you have access to the site from any computer!
