Children who find the aquisition of reading skills difficult often would benefit with more practice in visual discrimination patterns. The mechanics of reading include looking at patterns of letters that form words and some children with learning difficulties find this very difficult, especailly children with dyslexia.
This section has 30 worksheets , at three levels, to give children practice in visually discriminating between pictures, symbols, letter or words. In Level 1 they have to match pictorial symbols; in level 2 letters and blends; and in level 3 words from the high frequency and rhyming lists.
