Learning Difficulties - Phonics - Initial Blends

The first programme of phonics for this section is looking at initial blends. If parents/teachers need initial single letter sounds then you will find materials in the Literacy sections Pre-school Mini steps and Letters and Sounds. This initial blends programme follows the worksheets in the Next steps literacy section as well. For example, if the child finds the work on ch easy then he could go onto the ch worksheets in Next Steps Literacy section which will introduce harder words.
