Literacy - Resources for Teachers and Parents
In this section there are a number of good lists that are available for you to freely download, such as the High and Medium frequency word lists. For subscribers the Grapheme Rhyming list could be very useful when creating your own resources for word level work. Assessing children’s work is essential for forward planning and there are useful aids to assessing initial phonics, writing, speaking and listening and spelling.
The Table Top Aid – Alternatives to SAID is essential for children to have in front of them when working with speech .... but this is only available for subsrcibers !
The Key Objectives are very useful for planning work, you can match the year group to the correct objectives. It also helps with differentiation because if you are working with SEN children who are one or two years behind then you can track back to see what objectives they might be capable of working on.
